The Faculty Association is pleased to announce that as of July 1, 2021 all faculty will receive a 5.07% salary increase. The increase is the result of the clause in our current 2019-2022 contract that requires the District to increase salaries at the rate of the State of California cost of living adjustment (COLA).

“For 2021-2022, the parties agree that effective July 1, 2021, each cell of all Academic Salary Schedules will be increased by a percentage equal to the state-funded COLA for 2021-2022 received by the District.”

With the signing of the 2021 state budget by Governor Gavin Newsome the adjustment becomes effective July 1, 2021. The District has communicated that the adjustment should be effective with the August 1, 2021 paycheck. Any funds not received will be paid retroactively to July 1st.

This salary increase applies to all academic schedules including Full Time Faculty, Part time Faculty, instructional and non-instructional. Thank you for your continued support.
