PCC Faculty Association Announces Ratification of a New Contract!
Congratulations on Your New Contract!
The Pasadena City College Faculty Association membership voted to ratify the 2022-2025 contract. Congratulations! Of the 290 votes cast, 93% said yes to accepting the negotiated agreement.
This contract was the result of over 15 months of research, a dozen constituent meetings, and numerous head-to-head negotiation sessions by the executive Faculty Association Board members and the two lead negotiators, Suzanne Anderson and Mikage Kuroki. This contract is also the result of strong support from the Faculty Association members. We appreciate all the input from faculty groups and your patience as we worked through this demanding process.
We have a lot to be proud of in this contract: healthcare for part-time faculty, increased office hours for part-time faculty, memorializing coaching stipends into the contract, one-time off-schedule payment for all faculty, and of course, a 12% pay increase over two years, with a reopener on the pay increase in 2024-2025. Of course, there is still more work and advocacy for us to do on behalf of all faculty at PCC. We look forward to continuing the fight.
