WAGES AND BENEFITS

Salary increases are retroactive and annual.

Intersession and overload schedules will not be increased.

Schedules for, Contract Monthly,  Contract Monthly Nonteaching Adjunct, Credit Nonteaching, Adjunct Credit Semester,  Adjunct Noncredit will increase by:
2012-2013                           2%
2013-2014 2.79%
2014-2015 3%
2015-2016 3% (Contract Monthly, Contract Monthly Nonteaching)

 

4% (Adjunct Credit Nonteaching, Adjunct Credit Semester, Adjunct Noncredit)

Adjunct Office Hours will increase from 6 hours paid per semester to 8 in Fall 2015.

 

Medical Insurance – the District’s contribution to employee medical insurance will be capped at $1,772.34/month, which is 5% above the current premium.

 

Other Fringe Benefits, such as dental vision, and life insurance, will be included in the contract.
Retirement Incentive of 75% of 14/15 base salary according to PARS plan will be offered to employees  meeting the following criteria:
  • Employed by PCC as of 2/18/15

 

  • 5 full-time years of service as of 6/30/15

 

  • 55 years of age as of 6/30/15

 

  • Resign from PCC as of 6/30/15

 

  • Retire under STRS or PERS as of 7/1/15

 

CONTRACT LANGUAGE

Separate MOU for 12/13 raise

 

Term of Contract is from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016.  

 

Adjunct Rehire Rights become effective in Fall 2015.  Adjuncts who have 6 semesters (not intersession) of employment and most recent performance evaluations that are satisfactory will have first consideration for an available similar course to those previously taught.

 

FA Reassigned Time will increase from 1.2FTEs to 3.0 FTEs in Fall 2015.

 

A list of unit members will be provided to the FA each semester.

 

A Chair Study Committee will meet to identify and discuss potential bargaining issues related to possible implementation of a Chair system.

 

RATIFICATION

  • Ratification voting will be conducted online from February 4, 2015 until February 11, 2015. Voting members will receive an email with further instructions along with:
    • Actual contract language
    • PowerPoint Summary
    • This summary sheet
    • A link to vote online to ratify the contract
