Dear Faculty:

The FA Negotiations team would like to update you on the current Negotiations process.  

We have begun negotiating a successor agreement to the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (aka the “faculty contract”) with the District.  We met with the District on June 9th and June 16th and are scheduled to meet again next Thursday, June 30th.  

We presented the District with our proposal for Part-Time Faculty healthcare.  The District is waiting to respond to our part-time health care proposal.  They are putting together a total compensation package offer to present at a later date.  Now, as we wait for the budget, we are working on cleaning up the language in the contract.

We thank you for your patience for what is expected to be a lengthy negotiations process.
