The Pasadena City College Faculty Association is proud to support and endorse Kristine Kwong for Pasadena Area Community College District Governing Board Member, Trustee Area No. 5, who represents South Pasadena, San Marino and part of Temple City. Kristine Kwong, an attorney whose practice focuses on educational law, is a lifelong resident of South Pasadena and current chair of South Pasadena Parks and Recreation.   

Pasadena City College Faculty Association President Mark Whitworth noted, “Kwong’s commitment to open and transparent government coupled with her professional expertise will bring a sorely needed open-mindedness PCC’s Board of Trustees.  For far too long, the district has shut out the voices of campus and community stakeholders, including our faculty.  The Faculty Association is confident that Kristine Kwong will improve the quality of education and serve the students, faculty, and staff at Pasadena City College and the community at large.”
