NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE – September 23, 2024
Many faculty have contacted the Faculty Association about when they could expect to see the pay increases and one-time payments referenced in the Article 12 Tentative Agreement between the Faculty Association and the District:
- Pay increase of state-funded COLA of 1.07% for all faculty,
- Retroactive pay increase for work completed in July and August 2024,
- $2,000 for full-time faculty,
- $1000 per semester worked in Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025 for part-time faculty.
- Movement of Part-Time Faculty in the Non-Credit Disciplines to the Adjunct Credit Semester Faculty and Adjunct Credit Intersession Faculty salary schedules, and
- Movement of Part-Time Faculty Health Professionals to the Adjunct Semester Credit Nonteaching Salary Schedule.
Thank you for your patience as the Faculty Association waited for this information from the District. The District recently provided the following tentative dates:
- October 2024 – The pay increase should be reflected in the October 2024 paychecks of faculty;
- December 15, 2024 – Retroactive payments of the 1.07% pay increase for work completed in July and August 2024;
- November 1, 2024 – $2,000 one-time payment to full-time faculty;
- November 5, 2024 – $1,000 one-time payment to part-time faculty who worked in Fall 2024; and
- April 4, 2025 – $1,000 one-time payment to part-time faculty who worked in Spring 2025
- Spring 2025 – Part-Time Faculty in the Non-Credit Division will be moved to the Adjunct Credit Semester Faculty and Adjunct Credit Intersession Faculty salary schedules.
- Spring 2025 – Part-Time Faculty Health Professionals will be moved to the Adjunct Semester Credit Nonteaching Salary Schedule
