The MOU is a real benefit to all faculty. It compensates “Coaches” (Leads) who have tirelessly helped and continue to train faculty to implement remote instruction. This MOU also protects all faculty who did have or may have sections cancelled due the virus (sections that couldn’t “go remote”). These faculty will lose no pay this semester. Also protected: part-time faculty, by suspending all evaluation for the Spring semester. And, should any faculty unfortunately come down with the virus, they’re allowed them to use various sources of leave.
