Happening now – Feb. 2013
What’s happening:
- Associated Students are considering taking action on the PCC administration for Summer 2013 classes not counting towards Fall 2013, as had been promised to them. Stay informed.
- Unfair Labor Practice over winter cancellation filed with PERB.
- Contract negotiations are in mediation.

The District is uncooperative in supplying a complete list of full- and part-time faculty and their emails. Since Summer 2012, the FA has been requesting this list from HR and through negotiations to maintain accurate FA member and non-member records which will help in overall communications with faculty as well as for upcoming FA elections. At the beginning of 2013, MIS was then contacted in an attempt to get the list, but the matter was referred to Gail Cooper, the District’s general counsel. Several weeks later, the FA tried to get its own pccfa@pasadena.edu address so we could email faculty and staff more routinely. The matter was referred to VP Bob Miller two weeks ago and in the end, also referred to Gail Cooper.
