The last few months have seen an enormous standing together of faculty across campus – all of this faculty driven, not driven by the FA.

We have seen

• the Senate survey of faculty showing disapproval of the broken shared governance at PCC in November
• the faculty response to General Counsel Gail Cooper
• the outspoken refusal to stay silent and behind a virtual wall of communication about collectives in December
• a momentous beginning-of-semester rally and all the press that came with it in January
• the removal of decompressed Carnegie hour (16weeks to 17+ weeks) from discussion
• the calendar committee meeting on Jan. 31 (listen here)
• an inspiring faculty retreat on Feb. 1.
