Part-Time Faculty Survey Results
Part-time faculty who attended the March STRS workshop learned about the results of the Fall 2018 part-time faculty survey. Thank you to the 99 part-time faculty members (approximately 15%) who completed and returned the survey! The results will be considered as the focus for the upcoming negotiations. The take-away: Compensation, health insurance benefits, and strengthened re-appointment rights are most favored. Here is the order of your priorities:
Greater pay increase across pay schedule’s step and column:
1 (highest) to 6 (lowest)

Adjust steps and/or columns from pay schedule:

Faculty Association (FA) Membership
Please be sure that you join the FA now! By officially joining (the application form is also on the website), you can:
- vote on the contract;
- vote for FA Board members;
- run yourself for a position on the FA Board.
We need many more part-time faculty members at PCC to become FA members and to get involved. Join and participate. As you know, together, we are stronger and achieve more!
