Advisor and guide to PCC’s Courier, Warren Swil encouraged the paper to stand its ground in hard-hitting and well-researched journalism. During a turbulent recent time, it stood tall in the face of threats from then-President Rocha. Every week, the papers were grabbed from their racks by students, faculty, staff, and administrators eager to see what news the latest issue held inside.

He brought to his classes a professionalism and dedication that resulted in numerous awards to the paper, and personal/professional growth to its students. We are pleased to announce that he’s been selected as PCCFA’s ‘Faculty of the Year’ and will be honored at our year-end FA meeting, June 6th.
